Christmas and The Big 01!

Everyone wants a picture with the Birthday Boy!

Happy Birthday Grady! He had his first taste of cake, sort of, it was a pumpkin-apple muffin with cream cheese frosting, he loved it but he was acting a little crazy come 8 o'clock!
When he got tired of opening gifts he decided to climb through them, this was just as much fun if not more than opening them.
Our little Rocker!
It took a little while but he got the hang opening gifts, he did love playing with the paper and handed out all the little tiny pieces to people sitting around. It was not a quick process!

Snow!

We got our forest pass and went to find the perfect tree, well at least one that wasn't completely bare. Grady was bundled in his new sled and loved bouncing up and down through the snow.
The Moore Family Tree
The one we opted for was a little thin at the bottom so we just took the top 6 feet and it came out great. It looks perfect in our house and it was a memorable trip!
Grandma and Grandpa Stearns brought Grady a new sled just in time.

Grady loves the snow! He had so much fun on our first snow day crawling through it. His boots are a bit too big so he crawled right out of them and across the lawn in his socks, didn't seem to bother him at all.

Santa Who?

Grady's first encounter with Santa didn't really give him the Christmas spirit. He was terrified of the man! He wasn't scarred for life though because we took him to Mountain Top Music afterward so he could jam, and I think we may have a drummer on our hands. When we got home he was so tired that he crashed with Rosie.

Grady found out how to open the hat box today. So we naturally let him try on (forced him to wear) all of the hats.

Roarrrrrr!!!!

Grady was less than thrilled with the Lion suit I had him in on Halloween! He did however enjoy being a little monkey and handing out candy to all the local ghosts and goblins.

Grady had a visit from Grandma and Grandpa Stearns this weekend. They helped us gather some leaves and make a scarecrow. Grady had a nice time with them, thanks for babysitting!

Our Little Musician

Grady obviously takes his musical inclination from the Moore side. I thought Jim might get a kick out of this one, of course it's not a banjo!

Pumpkin Time

The weather was beautiful, sunny and warm this weekend. We took full advantage of it with a trip to Sherman Farm to go through the corn maze and pick a pumpkin. Grady was not all that enthralled by the maze (he was fast asleep) but loved the hayride and the pumpkins.

Auntie's Come to Town!

Grady got to spend the day with his long distance Aunts Lory and Laren. It was great reminiscing, walking around town and playing at the park. It was awesome that he got to spend time with you both, thanks for visiting!

Grady had a close encounter with a lobster at Great-Grandpa's party. He had a full weekend with Grandma and Grandpa and the rest of the family.

Here Comes Grady!

Look out! Grady is all over the place. He is crawling and standing up and moving around the furniture. There is nowhere that he can't get to and nothing he can't get into. He is keeping us on our toes.

Apples!

Apple picking time already! We went on our first Fall adventure with Grady. We had so much fun at Hatch's Orchard. Grady was more interested in the leaves than the apples but at least we had beautiful weather. He does love the apple sauce!
